What we are aiming for.
We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, or need larger text and stronger contrast. We treat the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at level AA as our target.
What we are not claiming.
We are not claiming conformance. Claiming it would mean we had completed a full audit against every criterion, and we have not. We would rather tell you where we actually are.
What we have done.
Every image on the site carries alternative text that describes the photograph rather than repeating the caption. Heading levels run in order on every page, so a screen reader can move through a page by structure. Interactive elements are reachable by keyboard. Body text contrast has been measured and adjusted, and a skip link is present so keyboard users can jump past the navigation.
What we know is not finished.
A full manual keyboard pass and a screen reader pass across every page. A third-party audit. Until those happen, we will not claim more than we have measured.
Third-party content.
Some parts of the experience come from other companies, including our payment processor and the provider network's portal. We do not control their code. If you hit a barrier in one of those, tell us and we will raise it with them and help you get what you need another way.
