About Your Telehealth Visit

Informed consent for telehealth is obtained by the clinician who treats you, not by us. Elevate Health Rx does not practice medicine. This page explains how the telehealth part of your program works, so you know what to expect before a provider asks for your consent.
Who treats you.
Licensed clinicians in TelegraMD's provider network. They are independent, they are licensed in the state you are in, and they are responsible for your clinical care. They are not Elevate employees, and Elevate does not direct their clinical decisions.
What we do.
We run the program around your care. We take your information, pass what a provider needs to review you, bill you as merchant of record, and provide the coaching and concierge services in your plan.
How the visit works.
After you complete the eligibility check, your information goes to the provider network. A provider reviews it. Depending on your state and your situation, that review may happen by message, or it may require a live visit by video or phone. The provider decides which is appropriate and will tell you.
What telehealth cannot do.
A remote visit is not the same as being examined in person. A provider cannot physically examine you, and some conditions cannot be assessed properly at a distance. If a provider decides you need in-person care, they will tell you, and you should follow that advice.
Emergencies.
Telehealth is not for emergencies. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. Do not wait for a message reply.
If a provider does not clear you.
You are not charged for medication you were not prescribed. Under our Right-Fit Promise you receive a full refund of what you paid, and the consultation is included in that because it is not charged separately.
Your records.
The clinical record of your care is held by the provider network. If you want a copy, ask them, and we will help you reach the right place.
Your consent, and withdrawing it.
The provider will ask for your informed consent before treating you, and that consent is between you and them. You can withdraw it with them at any time. Withdrawing consent to treatment does not by itself cancel a subscription with us, so if you want billing to stop, tell us as well at support@elevatehealthrx.com.
