    Privacy and Your Health Information

    Last updated August 21, 2026

    Read this first.

A Notice of Privacy Practices is a specific document that HIPAA requires of covered entities. Elevate Health Rx is probably not a covered entity, so rather than publish a notice that would not apply to us, this page explains plainly who holds your health information, who is regulated, and what protects you.

Why we are probably not a covered entity.

We do not practice medicine. We do not prescribe. We do not dispense medication. We do not bill health insurance. Those are the activities that usually bring a company inside HIPAA, and we do none of them.

    Who is regulated.

The licensed providers who review you and prescribe are part of TelegraMD's provider network, and they are covered entities in their own right. The pharmacy that dispenses your medication is too. Information you give them directly is protected by HIPAA and is handled under their own notices, which they provide to you.

    What we hold.

The answers you give in our eligibility check, your contact details, and your order history. That information is real and it deserves care whether or not HIPAA reaches it.

    What protects it here.

Our general Privacy Policy, which stands on its own and does not depend on HIPAA. Washington, Nevada and Connecticut consumer health data laws, which were written for exactly this gap, and which we answer on our Consumer Health Data Privacy page. And the Federal Trade Commission's Health Breach Notification Rule, which reaches companies that handle identifiable health information and are not covered by HIPAA.

    A phrase worth knowing.

There is no such thing as HIPAA certification. No government body and no private organization issues one, so no company can truthfully claim to hold it. We do not claim it. We say that here so the phrase is not misread if you see it elsewhere.

    What we do.

We handle health information under HIPAA-aligned safeguards. Your information is encrypted in transit and at rest, access to it is logged, and multi-factor authentication is required on any account that can reach your record.

    Your choices.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw your consent at any time. The routes are on Your Privacy Choices, and they are free to use.

    If this changes.

If our role ever changes so that HIPAA does regulate us directly, we will publish a proper Notice of Privacy Practices here and tell you.
