SAFETY
Important safety information.
WARNING: RISK OF THYROID C-CELL TUMORS
GLP-1 medications carry a boxed warning for a risk of thyroid C-cell tumors and are not for use in anyone with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN2).
Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are prepared by state-licensed compounding pharmacies. They are distinct, custom-formulated preparations, are not the same as the FDA-approved brand medications Ozempic and Wegovy (semaglutide) or Mounjaro and Zepbound (tirzepatide), and are not independently FDA-approved. Common side effects can include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, abdominal pain, headache, and fatigue, and are most common while your dose is being adjusted. Less common but serious risks include inflammation of the pancreas, gallbladder problems, low blood sugar, kidney problems, and allergic reactions. Tell your provider right away about any changes in mood, including thoughts of self-harm. Your eligibility, medication, and dose are determined by a licensed provider during your evaluation.
